Ingredients
Method
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
- Spread about 2 teaspoons of Nutella evenly over the entire surface of each triangle.
- Place about 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate chips along the wide edge of each triangle.
- Roll each triangle starting from the wide end, tucking the tip underneath to seal.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water or milk together until fully combined to make an egg wash.
- Brush the egg wash over the tops of the unbaked croissants.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the croissants in a single layer, leaving room for them to spread.
- Air fry at 360 degrees F for 8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of warm honey, melted chocolate, and a dusting of powdered sugar.

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or in the fridge for about 1 week.
For the best texture, reheat leftover croissants in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds before serving.
Be sure to coat the basket well with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper so the croissants do not stick.
Keep the air fryer temperature at 360 degrees F and the full 8 minute cook time, or the centers may stay doughy.
The croissants puff up during cooking, so give each one at least an inch of space in the basket.
Feel free to use any chocolate hazelnut spread and add chopped nuts if you like extra crunch.
These are best eaten fresh while the filling is still warm and gooey.
