Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup raisins

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, salt, baking soda, and spices together in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until smooth, beat in eggs one at a time, and stir in bananas and vanilla.
  4. Stir in the raisins.
  5. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients on the lowest speed until just combined.
  6. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days.
